Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Medical Oncologist for a long-term outpatient opportunity in eastern Kentucky. This position offers a flexible schedule, low patient volume, no call, and strong multidisciplinary support.

Schedule
Preferred: 3 days per week
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No call
Client will consider:
One provider working 3 days/week
Two providers alternating 1-week or 2-week rotations
Practice Details
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
Approximately 15 patients per day
60% Hematology / 40% Solid Tumor Oncology
Approximately 20% new patients / 80% follow-ups
Meditech EMR
Physician participates in multidisciplinary tumor board
Clinical Support
Three physician partners
One APP on-site daily
Dedicated oncology infusion nurses
APP support with follow-up visits, documentation, and orders
Low-acuity practice (acute leukemias referred to tertiary centers)
Requirements
Board Certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology
Recent patient-facing clinical experience required
Credentialing
Approximately 60 days
