Hematology & Oncology Physician Locums – Northampton, MA

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Assignment Details:
Location: Northampton, MA
Ideal Start: August 2026 (flexible)
Coverage: Full-time only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 4 clinic days - 1 administrative day

Call Schedule:
Approximately 1 weeknight call per week (4:30 PM – 8:00 AM)
Weekend call approximately 1:6
Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM

Practice Setting:
Established Hematology/Oncology practice
EMR: Epic
Adult patient population

Collaborative team including:
5 Hematology/Oncology physicians
Dedicated nurse
APP support

Clinical Responsibilities:
Manage established patient panel with 2–3 new patients
Evaluate abnormal laboratory findings
Develop treatment plans

Requirements:
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Active Massachusetts license required
DEA required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience

Additional Information:
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
