Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center
EMR: Epic
Patient Population: Adult Patients

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide coverage for a growing oncology practice while the team recruits a permanent provider. The current physician will be departing in August, and the client is ideally looking for a locum provider to begin around that timeframe.

Schedule & Volume
Monday-Thursday schedule
Approximately 8 patient encounters per week
Mix of established patients and 2-3 new patient consultations weekly
Adult patient population

Responsibilities
Manage labs and review diagnostic results
Conduct routine follow-up visits
Evaluate new patient consultations
Work up abnormal lab findings
Develop and manage treatment plans


Support Staff
5 additional physicians within the practice
Dedicated nurse assigned to the locum provider
APP support available
Established clinical and administrative team

Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Comfortable managing both hematology and oncology patient populations
Experience with chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment management preferred
