Hematology/Oncology Locum – Michigan (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Location: Michigan (Cancer Center – Hospital Affiliated)
Start: October 1, 2025
End: December 31, 2026
Reason: FMLA Coverage
Credentialing: 90–120 days

Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Clinic)
Call: Shared rotation (1:5)
After hours: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
APP-supported call coverage
Practice Setting
Outpatient clinic + infusion center + inpatient consults
Cancer center attached to hospital
Physicians: 6
APPs:
5 inpatient (covering 2 hospitals)
6 outpatient
EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities
Focus on Hematology (benign & malignant)
Occasional solid tumor cases (<10%)
Inpatient consults + outpatient clinic care
Perform procedures:
FNA / Biopsy
Participate in tumor boards
Order tests, imaging, and prescribe treatments
Volume
Outpatient: ~15 patients/day
Inpatient: ~10–15 patients/day

Patient Population
Adult & Geriatric

Requirements
Board Certified – REQUIRED
Active Michigan License – Strongly Preferred (willing to license)
BLS – REQUIRED
Must be available full-time
Additional Info
Community-based practice (no BMT or highly specialized academic procedures)
Greater volume of benign hematology cases
Radiation oncology available onsite
