Hematology/Oncology Physician needed in Minnesota

Contract Length: 3–6 months (possible extensions)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician (malignant hematology preferred) to provide inpatient care and optional on-call coverage in Minnesota. This is a full-time opportunity with a structured day schedule and flexible call support, offering the chance to work with an established team and manage a diverse patient population.

Highlights:

Inpatient & Call Coverage: Provide weekday inpatient care with optional PM/weekend call as needed.

Support & Resources: Work alongside APPs during daytime shifts, with full autonomy during call shifts.

Flexible Assignment: Short-term 3–6 month locum with the possibility of extension or permanent placement.

Requirements:

Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (malignant preferred)

Active MN license or eligible through IMLC

DEA registration

BLS certification

Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient hematology/oncology

Additional Info:

Patient load: 30–40 per day

EMR: Epic

Hospital & outpatient setting experience required

Credentialing: 90 days for licensed providers, 120 days if licensing required
