Medical Oncologist needed - MN

Job description

Special procedures: Malignant and Benign oncology
Skills required: Medical Oncology- must have experience/comfort level inpatient malignant medical oncology patients and all ranges of hematology consults

Practice Setting: Hospital inpatient service

Call expectations: 8-10 hour days inpatient team, overnight call done from home, only medical oncology specific calls.

Monday 8am to following Monday 8am, flexible

Role expectations: Lead medical oncology team, supervising Advanced practice providers, seeing inpatient, all new consults

Nurse triage service and hospitalist available, number of calls minimal

Support staff: 1 APP M-F, 1 on the weekend to round

• 8 - 10 hour Day + Call
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Oncology & Hematology boards required
