Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed in Albert Lea, MN | Medical Oncology | Flexible Shifts

Job description

This is a hospital-based medical oncology opportunity at an acute care hospital in Albert Lea, Minnesota, spanning scheduled clinical hours plus call, with Doc of the Day coverage for nights and weekends on a rotation. The core schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p (8-hour days), though the client will also consider two 12-hour shifts or three 10-hour shifts per week, along with PRN shifts. The assignment runs approximately 13 weeks, with potential for up to a one-year term. Credentialing runs approximately 45-60 days, and travel reimbursement is available.

The setting is medical oncology, with about 14-16 patients per day, supported by an NP/PA. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology, with BLS (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted) and experience with oncology and hematology clinic patients. The facility will license a non-Minnesota-licensed provider.
