Position Overview
Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a growing outpatient oncology program in northern New York. This is a high-volume clinical role ideal for providers who thrive in structured outpatient settings with a mix of systemic therapy management and occasional inpatient consult support.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour blocked lunch)
Full-time strongly preferred (flexible for near full-time schedules)
6–9 month assignment

Practice Setting

Outpatient oncology clinic (primary setting)
Occasional inpatient consults (not routine)
Epic EMR with AI charting support available
15-chair infusion center

Clinical Responsibilities

Manage solid tumor oncology patients in outpatient setting
Treatment planning and administration including:
Chemotherapy
Immunotherapy
Targeted therapy
Hormone therapy
Patient follow-up and symptom management
Occasional inpatient consult support as needed

Patient Volume

Approximately 18–20 patients per day

Support Structure

1 MD onsite
1 NP onsite
3 CNA/CMA staff
Strong clinic support team in a growing program

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of oncology experience required
Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology physician
Active New York State license required at time of presentation
Adaptability and comfort working in a growing program preferred
Strong outpatient oncology experience required
