We are seeking a **Physician, Oncology/Hematology** to join Premier Health Partners and provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer and related hematologic conditions.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based oncology care across diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pathology, radiology, surgery, radiation oncology, primary care, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and coordinated care.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, stage, and develop treatment plans for patients with a broad range of cancers and hematologic disorders.
Prescribe and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
Perform bone marrow biopsies, lumbar procedures, and other diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
Provide comprehensive supportive care, including symptom and pain management, psychosocial support, and management of treatment-related side effects.
Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and ongoing care.
Provide long-term follow-up and surveillance for recurrence.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, nursing, primary care, and other specialists to coordinate individualized patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, quality improvement initiatives, Commission on Cancer activities, and departmental meetings.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare providers.
Participate in clinical research and stay current with emerging treatments, technologies, and advances in oncology and hematology.
Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cancer treatment and advances in the field.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory, institutional, and clinical standards.
