Medical Oncology opening in North Carolina

Job description

We’re working with an established outpatient cancer center in North Carolina that has an immediate need for Medical Oncology locum coverage. This is a long-term assignment open to providers with an active NC medical license who can offer a minimum of 2 weeks per month of consistent coverage.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP – ongoing until permanent roles are filled

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (4–5 days/week)

Setting: Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic

Patient Volume: 12–14 patients/day

Support Team: 1–4 providers on shift, 1 RN per provider

Procedures: Bone marrow biopsy preferred but not required

Call: Possible inpatient call – client currently finalizing call rates

Board Certification: Required in Hematology and/or Oncology

Licensure: Active North Carolina license required

Credentialing: ~90 days

Vaccination: Flu vaccine required
