Hematology/Oncology Locum Tenens – Ambulatory Clinic
📍 North Carolina | Benign Hematology Focus | EPIC | 60–90 Day Credentialing

A leading healthcare facility in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist or Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a benign hematology-focused ambulatory clinic. This is a high-volume, fully supported outpatient role with no inpatient responsibilities.

Position Overview
Setting: Ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic (Outpatient Only)
Focus: Benign Hematology (Bread-and-Butter Hem/Onc)

Start: Upon credentialing (60–90 days)
Schedule: Full-time (exact schedule TBD)
Patients/Day: Minimum 15 hematology patients per day

Responsibilities
Follow-up and new patient evaluations
Write orders and prescriptions
Coordinate with on-site pharmacy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary support team
Use EPIC EMR (assessment required before start)

Facility & Team
Inpatient Facility (clinic is ambulatory, but hospital-based)

Support Staff Includes:
Nurses, Admin Support, Navigator, Pharmacy
1–2 Physicians, APPs, Infusion Specialists

Candidate Requirements
Board Certification:
Hematology or Oncology (Both preferred, not required)
