Position Overview
Established Hematology/Oncology practice seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a 39-week locum assignment. Provider will join a collaborative team in a high-volume adult oncology setting with strong on-site resources.

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Contract Length: 39 weeks

Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call

Schedule

Monday – Thursday

4 x 10-hour shifts

Day schedule

Practice Setting

Adult patients (18+)

High new patient volume

15–18 patients per day

Does not treat acute leukemia or pediatric patients (transferred out)

Team & Support

Full-time Medical Oncologist

Two APPs

LPN clinical support

On-site lab and infusion center

Radiation Oncology and Cardiology on site

Urgent care, full-service imaging, and pharmacy available

Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

Active North Carolina license (IMLC accepted)

BLS certification

DEA required

1–2 years of experience preferred

Must be a well-rounded physician who integrates well within team culture

Credentialing

60–90 days

Willing to license
