Hematology Oncology - MD (Full-Time: M - Th)

Work Details:
• # of patients per day: Hematology patients, not oncology (minimum 15 patients)
• Hospital bed size: TBD (Inpatient Facility)
• Support staff: Nurses, Navigator, Admin Support, Pharmacy, 1 – 2 physicians, APPs, Infusion Specialist (will not be working entirely solo)
• Job Requirements: Ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic – follow up and see new patients, write orders & prescriptions, communicate with the pharmacy
o Focus on benign hematology
o 60-65% hematology with mild fluctuations from month to month.
o comfortable working in a "general oncology" role
o Bread and Butter Hem/Onc
• EMR: EPIC (will need to take an assessment before their start date)
• Board Certification: Hematology and/or Oncology
o Provider only need to be boarded in one or the other, double boarded is preferred
o If seeing oncology patients, will need to BC’d in Oncology
• State License Required: Yes, State of NC
• DEA: YES
• Certifications: BLS
• Minimum experience required: at least 2 – 3 years’ experience
