About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide on-site inpatient and ambulatory hematology and oncology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the assignment spanning November 3 through November 22. The clinical scope is approximately 90% outpatient and encompasses the screening, evaluation, and treatment of oncology patients in an ambulatory setting, as well as inpatient rounding on admitted patients requiring consultation. Expected procedures include bone marrow biopsies; no intensivist responsibilities are required, and clinicians will not respond to codes or serve as backup coverage. New clinicians are required to complete orientation either the day before or the morning of the first assigned shift.
