Hematology/Oncology Locum Tenens Opportunity in NC

Overview:
Outpatient oncology coverage in Greensboro, NC, focused on prostate, kidney, bladder, and benign hematology cases.

Schedule & Coverage:
Specialty: Medical Oncology. Start Date: 01/18/2027. Contract Length: 34 weeks. Shift Details: 5 x 8s. Schedule: Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), 2–3 weeks per month. Frequency of Call: Minimal, but would overlap with scheduled days/night, or agreed-upon weekend coverage as needed. Currently 9 providers all share call (24-hour Call, Night Call). Title: MD. On Call: Yes.

Work Details:
Support staff: APPs, pharmacist, nurses. Department Description: Outpatient. Patient Volume: 15–18, 1–2 new and 2 benign hematology per day. Patient Age Group: Adults. EMR/Documentation: Epic. Special Procedures: Focus on prostate, kidney, bladder, and benign hematology cases/experience. Practice Setting: Outpatient.

Requirements:
Board Certifications Required/Preferred: Hematology Oncology. State License: State of NC, IMLC. CSR Required: Y. DEA Required: Y. Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. Are vaccines mandatory?: Yes.

Credentialing:
60–90 days. Willing to License: Yes, IMLC only with LOQ in hand. Clean background required.
