Part-Time Hematology/Oncology Physician – Cambridge, OH
Schedule: 3 days per month (within a 1-week period)
Setting: Weekday office coverage | 8am–5pm | Adults only

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide part-time outpatient coverage. This role is ideal for a provider looking for a low-volume, team-supported assignment with a strong focus on hematology and oncology care—no procedures required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient coverage, seeing both hematology and oncology patients (approx. 60% heme / 40% onc).

Evaluate new patients needing chemotherapy and manage a range of blood disorders.

Develop and formalize treatment plans following NCCN guidelines.

Place and manage treatment orders, including reauthorizations.

Typical patient load: 14–18 patients/day, with no more than 3 new patients/day.

Common oncology cases include breast and colon cancers.

Work alongside a supportive team including 2 APPs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, and a dedicated RN.

Requirements:

Board Certified in Medical Oncology; Hematology/Oncology strongly preferred.

1+ years rounding on cancer patients in a medical oncology department.

ACLS required if requesting Moderate Sedation privileges.

Comfortable managing outpatient cancer care with no procedural duties.
