A well-established Medical Oncology and Hematology program in north-central Ohio is seeking a locum Oncology/Hematology physician for a 6-month assignment with a predictable weekly schedule and fast credentialing.


Assignment Details

Start Date: May 1, 2026

Contract Length: 6 months


Schedule:

3 days per week covering inpatient consults, outpatient clinic, infusion coverage, and weekday call

1 weekend per month of locum coverage (currently in-person; may transition to phone-only call in the future)

Practice Setting: Medical Oncology Clinic


Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient consults and rounding

Outpatient oncology/hematology clinic

Infusion coverage via phone and EPIC InBasket

Weekday call responsibilities

One weekend of on-call coverage per month


Volume & Patient Population

Patients per day: ~16

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Requirements

Oncology and Hematology clinical experience

EPIC experience required

Clinic and inpatient rounding experience required

Board Certification preferred (Oncology/Hematology)

Active state license required

DEA required
