Hem/Onc Physician Needed In Oregon

Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Full-time preferred – 4 days/week (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri), 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (includes 12:00–1:00 PM lunch)

Clinical Details

Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient (primarily clinic-based with infusion suite)
Patient Population: Adult oncology patients
Patient Volume: ~15 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Yes (APPs and nursing support)

Procedures & Responsibilities

Manage panel of established oncology patients and accept new patients

Provide clinic coverage and oversee infusion treatments

Sign chemotherapy orders and collaborate closely with nursing staff

Be available during clinic hours to answer treatment-related questions from APPs/nurses

Respond to infusion reactions and manage urgent issues until rapid response arrives

Pre-charting and documentation included in scheduled hours

Bone marrow biopsies not typically required
