Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in PA – Ongoing Coverage

Opportunity Highlights:
• Ongoing assignment through March 2027 with flexible scheduling (full-time or 3+ days/week)
• Balanced mix of outpatient clinic and light inpatient consults with low call volume (0–2 calls/day)
• Strong support team including NP and virtual hematologist, plus onsite infusion services

Opportunity Details: Hematology/Oncology
Location: Chambersburg & Waynesboro, PA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: Ongoing (approved through 3/31/2027)
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Full-time coverage preferred (minimum 3 days/week accepted)

Call Details:
• 1 week/month call rotation
• Includes nights & weekends
• Call type: inpatient & phone
• Volume: 0–2 calls per day

Work Details:
• Mix of clinic and inpatient consults (1–2 hours rounding/consults daily as needed)
• Average 15 patients/day (approx. 2 new patients/day)
• Adult patient population (no pediatrics)
• Case mix: ~2/3 Oncology, 1/3 Hematology
• Common cases: lung, breast, prostate, colorectal cancers
• No inpatient chemo required
• EMR/Dictation: Cerner & Nuance

Practice Setting:
• Inpatient & outpatient clinic
• Hospital-based cancer institute (ACS accredited)
• Infusion services onsite (chemo, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, etc.)

Support & Team:
• Collaborative team with additional providers onsite
• 1 NP + 1 virtual hematologist
• Tumor board participation

Requirements:
• Board Certified (double board preferred)
• Fellowship trained
• PA license preferred (open to licensing/IMLC)
• DEA required
