Hematology/Oncology Locums – Rhode Island

Job description

Start Date: October 27, 2025 (ASAP possible)
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Position Details

Schedule:

3 outpatient clinic days/week, Monday–Friday, 8a–4:30p (30-min lunch)

Rounding: 1–2 hours daily based on consult volume

Call: Weekday + weekend rotation required

Patient Volume: Outpatient 18–22/day | Inpatient varies by consults

Procedures: Biopsies as needed

Support Staff: Nursing and clinical support team in place

EMR: 80% paper, 20% Meditech

Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

Rhode Island license + DEA required (willing to license!)

Clean background

Minimum experience preferred
