Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed in Providence, RI | Clinic + Inpatient Rounding | Licensure & Travel Covered

Job description

Start: September 28, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed — temporary privileges may allow an earlier start)
Length: 26 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Outpatient clinic with daily inpatient rounding (1–2 hours based on consults)
Schedule: Mon–Fri clinic, 8:00a–4:00p; night call 5:00p–8:00a; weekend 24-hour call 1–2 weekends per month (7:00a–7:00a); inpatient rounding daily, 1–2 hours based on consult volume
Call: Weekday and weekend call rotation
Volume: Outpatient 18–22/day; inpatient varies with consult volume
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital — outpatient clinic with inpatient consults/rounding
Procedures: Biopsies as needed
EMR: Meditech (mixed paper/EMR environment)

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Rhode Island license, DEA, and CSR required (open to licensure — will wait for the Rhode Island license)
- Able to function in a mixed paper/EMR environment
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Will cover travel, airfare, lodging, and car rental.
