Facility:
This state-of-the-art Cancer Center has maintained Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984 and serves as a comprehensive oncology facility. The center features an on-site Radiation Oncology department, a 24-bay outpatient infusion department with on-site pharmacist, robust oncology supportive services, and access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:
• Fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist position with Board Certified highly preferred due to practice complexity
• Full-time position covering outpatient clinic with very few hospital rounds
• Monday-Friday schedule 8:00 am-5:00 pm with 32 minimum patient contact hours plus on-call responsibilities
• Cover practice call and inpatient care for oncology patients with no weekend coverage required
• Handle approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year with 15-25 patients per day
• Work within a Level 2 Trauma facility with Epic EMR system
• Practice is in a rebuilding phase with supportive leadership and collegial medical staff
• Access to on-site laboratory services and comprehensive oncology support
• Must maintain South Carolina medical license and complete DEA and CSR/CDS requirements
• Requires residency within immediate local area with possible relocation
• Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates
• Must have clean malpractice and license history with current NPDB Self Query Report
