Hematology/Oncology Opportunity – VA
Start Date: Flexible
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
(Last patient scheduled at 3:40 PM; days of week negotiable)
Coverage: Clinic only (8–10 hours/day, 4–5 days/week)
Call: None

Work Details:
• Patient volume: 13–15 patients per day
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Mix of solid tumors, malignant hematology, and simple hematology cases
• No bone marrow biopsies in clinic; BMTs referred to tertiary centers
• EMR: Epic / Beacon

Support Staff:
• 4 APPs
• 2 Oncology RNs
• 8 Infusion RNs
• 4 MA/LPNs
• 2 Clinical Pharmacists
• Social Worker, Dietician, Navigators, Schedulers
• Nurse Educator, Financial Counselors, Research Nurse
• On-site lab

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient clinic

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Virginia license required
• Willing to license
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
