Hematology/Oncology Opportunity – Virginia

Setting: Hospital Outpatient Department
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
EMR: EPIC Beacon

Schedule & Coverage Details:

Clinic schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Friday clinic every 3rd week

Call coverage: Monday–Sunday every 3rd week

Call frequency: Every 3 weeks

Work Environment & Support:

Abingdon location: 3 NPs and a dedicated RN

Marion location: 1 NP and a dedicated RN

Nurse navigators, palliative care, and dietician support at both locations

One clinic attached to a 21-chair infusion center and co-located with radiation oncology

Second location includes a 5-chair infusion center

Requirements:

Board Certified or board certification pending

Virginia license required (client not willing to license)

BLS certification required

DEA required

Minimum of 1+ year experience

Flu vaccine required

IMLC not accepted

Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days

Temporary privileges may be available

VA license, DEA, and insurance credentialing may impact timeline
