Hematology Oncology Locums Opportunity in Virginia - 4 day work week!

Job description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage in a hospital-based Hematology/Oncology department. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with light, predictable call and strong clinical support.

Schedule & Coverage

Clinic Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday Clinic: Every 3rd week

Call Coverage: Monday–Sunday every 3rd week

Call Frequency: One week every three weeks

Work Environment

Setting: Hospital Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Department

Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff

3 Nurse Practitioners

Dedicated RN

Location #2:

1 Nurse Practitioner

Dedicated RN

Additional Support at Both Locations:

Nurse Navigators

Palliative Care Team

Dietitian
