Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a well-established oncology center with 13 beds and a team of 3 additional permanent providers. The facility is actively seeking to expand their medical oncology services to better serve the community's cancer care needs.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:
• Work a 40-hour week with flexible scheduling options
• Monday through Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM (9 hours) and Friday 8 AM - 12 PM
• Lower patient volume on Fridays for improved work-life balance
• See 12-15 patients per day with manageable patient load
• Light call schedule with beeper-only coverage for established patients
• Call volume is very light at 2-5 calls per week (phone consultation only)
• Work alongside 3 established permanent providers in the oncology center
• Driving distance candidates preferred for this full-time Medical Oncologist position
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
• Must maintain active Virginia medical license
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, and BLS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Overtime compensation paid weekly for hours exceeding 40
• Apartment housing available

Compensation:
