This healthcare organization operates a well-established oncology center that serves the regional community with comprehensive cancer care services. The facility features a 13-bed department with 3 additional established permanent providers, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment for medical professionals.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:
• Work 4 shifts per week with 8-10 hours per day depending on patient volumes
• Manage 12-15 patients per day with established patient population
• Overtime compensation provided after 40 hours per week
• Light call schedule with beeper coverage for established patients only (2-5 calls per week, phone only)
• Join an oncology center with 3 established permanent providers
• Preference given to candidates seeking long-term commitment within driving distance
• Must maintain active Virginia medical license
• Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Apartment housing available for qualified candidates

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
