This comprehensive cancer institute is part of a well-established regional medical center that provides specialized oncology and hematology services to the community. The facility operates as a Level III trauma center with state-of-the-art technology and Epic EMR system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinical workflows.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology services for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings with no weekend or call responsibilities
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Manage 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases with no internal medicine requirements
• See 12-25 outpatients per day in clinic/office setting
• Round on 2-8 hospital patients per day
• Work independently as the sole physician in practice with no APP support
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Board certification in Medical Oncology required, Hematology certification highly preferred
• Active Virginia medical license and BLS certification required
• COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M required if requested by facility
• Credentialing timeframe: 3-14 days for temporary privileges, 2-3 months for permanent
• Full travel expenses covered

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
