Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity – Big Stone Gap, VA

Job description

Highlights:
• Full-time coverage with 24-hour call shifts and clinic hours Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, including one week of call per month
• Approximately 15 adult patients per day with dedicated nursing support and a strong mix of both Hematology and Oncology patients
• Epic EMR with established infusion centers, onsite Radiation Oncology support at the primary location, and telehealth consult opportunities during call coverage

This position will primarily float between two locations with an additional facility covered via tele-consult during assigned call weeks.

Requirements: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology, active Virginia license, DEA, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. Must have a clean background with no malpractice history, including settled cases. Virginia license must already be in hand; licensing and IMLC candidates cannot be considered. Credentialing is approximately 60 days.
