Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time 6-month locum tenens assignment in Washington State. This is an excellent opportunity to provide consistent outpatient coverage in a well-supported cancer center with an established patient base and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Assignment Details
Start Date: February 2, 2026
End Date: August 2, 2026
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Monday is designated as an administrative day
Duration: 6-month contract (single provider preferred for continuity)
Setting: Outpatient
Practice Details
Patients per shift: 12–15
Department beds: 13
Support staff: Full nursing and administrative team on site
Providers requested: 1
EMR: Epic
Position Overview
The provider will manage a diverse panel of hematology and oncology patients, offering both consultative and ongoing treatment services. This role emphasizes continuity of care, collaboration with a dedicated care team, and integration within a patient-centered cancer program.
Requirements
Board Certification: Required (Hematology and/or Oncology)
Fellowship: Preferred
Licensure: Active Washington license or IMLC accepted
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
