Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) to provide coverage at a respected healthcare system in Bellingham, WA. This assignment offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care while recruitment for a permanent provider is underway.

🗓 Assignment Details

Start Date: February 25, 2026 (first day reserved for orientation)

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (no dedicated oncology floor)

Average Patient Volume: 15–20 per day

Inpatient Beds: 240 total

Rounding: Occasional

Patient Demographics: Adult

Required Procedures: None

Support: Works alongside other Medical and Radiation Oncologists

🧾 Requirements

Active Washington medical license

Board Certified in Medical Oncology

BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Recent clinical activity within the past 24 months (case logs required)

Experience with EPIC EMR
