This cancer institute is a premier oncology center dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care to patients throughout the Pacific Northwest. The facility features a 17-bed department with a well-established Hematology Oncology clinic supported by a large, collaborative team of 15-20 oncology providers.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

  • Full-time locum tenens coverage needed beginning October 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis
  • Outpatient clinic setting with some inpatient call on occasional weekends
  • Providers scheduled for four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Clinic is closed daily from 12:00pm - 1:00pm for lunch
  • Approximately 11 patient encounters per shift
  • Weeknight beeper call required 1-2 nights per week for established Hematology Oncology clinic patients
  • Participation in shared 24-hour weekend beeper call pool for oncology inpatients, shared among 15-20 total providers
  • Active Washington State license or active IMLC required to bid
  • Board certification required; DEA required
  • BLS certification required
  • Lymphoma experience and cell therapy experience are a plus
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
  • Long-term housing assistance available with pre-approval; monthly housing budget of $4,000

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
