Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Locums - Spokane, WA | 7 on/7 off | No Call | Epic

Job description

Start: September 1, 2026 (pending privileges)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing, open to extension)
Coverage: Inpatient oncology in a hospitalist role - scheduled clinical hours only
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, day shifts 8:00-17:00 (9 hours)
Call: No call
Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift
Practice Setting: Inpatient, Level II trauma center
EMR: Epic
Staffing: Will consider one full-time provider or two providers working in tandem on the 7 on / 7 off rotation

Inpatient oncology management and daily rounding
Consults and coordination with the multidisciplinary care team
Treatment planning and follow-up throughout the admission
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Oncology (fellowship preferred)
Active Washington license or IMLC - open to licensure
DEA required
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Clean file required for expedited temporary privileges
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days
