Hematology/Oncology Opening in West Virginia. Willing to license!

Aya Locums is excited to partner with a respected Cancer Center in West Virginia looking for a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for a 1-year locum assignment starting August 1, 2025. This role offers a great balance of outpatient clinic and inpatient call coverage, with strong team support and flexible scheduling.

Position Details:
Start Date: August 1, 2025

Contract Length: 12 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Call: 1 week of inpatient call every 3 weeks (includes weekends)

Coverage: Must be available at least 3 weeks per month

Patient Volume: Approximately 15 adult patients per day

Setting: Hospital-based Cancer Center

Support Staff: Nurses, CMAs, APPs

EMR: Cerner

Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies preferred but not required

Requirements:
Board Certified in Medical Oncology

Completed Oncology Fellowship

3–5 years of clinical experience

Active West Virginia license or willingness to obtain (temp license available)

BLS, ACLS, DEA required

Credentialing timeframe: 45–60 days
