Locums – MD – Oncology, West Virginia

Assignment Details

Start Date: 12/1/2025

Contract Length: 1 year

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30

Call: Inpatient call every 3rd week (1:3 rotation)

Setting: Hospital-based Cancer Center

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Nurses, CMA, APP support

Patients per Day: ~15

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Special Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies

Coverage Expectation: Full-time; must be able to offer at least 3 weeks per month to be considered

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

Fellowship: Oncology Fellowship required

State License: Active state license required (willing to license; temporary license available for providers with a clean background and no significant gaps)

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS required

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years

Background: No background issues of any kind

Credentialing Timeline: 45–60 days
