Locum opportunity for Physician – Hematology/Oncology in Beckley, WV

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Physician – 𝐇𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲/𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (Locum Tenens)

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment in a hospital-based Cancer Center. The physician will provide outpatient clinic care with scheduled inpatient call coverage, delivering comprehensive oncology services to an adult patient population.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinic services
- Manage approximately 15 adult patients per day
- Perform bone marrow biopsies as required
- Participate in inpatient call rotation (1 in 3 weeks)
- Collaborate with nursing staff, CMAs, and APPs to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document all encounters accurately using Cerner EMR

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
- Monday–Friday clinic schedule
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Inpatient call coverage every third week, including weekends

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (Required)
- Completion of Oncology Fellowship (Required)
- Active state medical license (Required)
- DEA certification (Required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience
- Clean background required (no exceptions)
