Massachusetts Hem/Onc Locums - 2 Weeks/Month or Full-Time

Job description

Aya Locums is working with a Massachusetts Hematology/Oncology program looking for ongoing coverage beginning in January.

There is meaningful flexibility in how the schedule is structured. Physicians may work four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days per week, and the client can consider anything from two weeks per month through full-time coverage. The initial assignment is expected to run approximately six months with potential to extend.

The practice is primarily outpatient and focuses on general Hematology/Oncology with a predominantly adult patient population. Some inpatient rounding may be needed on clinic days. Bone marrow biopsy and aspiration experience is preferred, but these procedures are not required.

Weekend telephone call is part of the assignment, but there is no onsite obligation associated with that call coverage.

Board certification in both Hematology and Oncology is required, along with an active DEA. An active Massachusetts license is welcome, but the client is willing to wait for licensing, so I would still like to hear from you if Massachusetts interests you and licensing is the only obstacle.

If Massachusetts is not your ideal market, tell me what would be. I work heavily in Hematology/Oncology and would rather understand the schedule, geography, clinical mix, call and compensation that would make locums worthwhile for you so I can go to work on the right fit.

  • Flexible schedule - choose 4x10s or 5x8s
  • Two weeks per month or full-time coverage considered
  • Licensing assistance available - procedures preferred, not required
