Locum Tenens – Inpatient Hematologist (Malignant Heme Required)

Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
Start Date: September 26, 2025
Assignment Length: 6 months (option to extend or transition to perm)
Coverage: Inpatient + Call

Schedule

Days: Monday–Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Call: Evenings and weekends required

Emergency Privileges: Available for clean files

Work Details

Setting: Inpatient hematology service

Focus: Malignant hematology (required)

Support: APPs available weekdays for heme/onc (no APP call coverage)

Minimum Experience: 2+ years post-training

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Hematology/Oncology)

License: Must hold active MN license (not open to licensing)

Certifications: DEA required

Credentialing: Emergency privileges possible; standard 90–120 days otherwise

• 6-month block with option to extend or convert to perm
• Weekday APP support on the inpatient service
• Clear, predictable schedule
