TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematopathologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Greenville, North Carolina. This opportunity offers the chance to join an established pathology program within a large academic medical center.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call: Some night and weekend call
Coverage Blocks: Providers should be available for 1-week blocks
Setting: Academic Medical Center
Clinical Responsibilities: Inpatient and outpatient
Clinical Responsibilities

Hematopathology responsibilities include:

Blood smears
Body fluids
Bone marrow
Lymph nodes
Extranodal lymphoma
Flow cytometry sign-out
Practice Environment
Established pathology program
Multidisciplinary pathology team
7 clinical pathologists
11 surgical pathologists
AP/CP residency program
Centralized tertiary-care medical center laboratory
Surgical pathology division accessioning approximately 26,000 cases annually
Requirements
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematopathology
Eligible for hospital privileges
Availability for 1-week coverage blocks
