Hematology & Oncology Locums | Stable Long-Term Coverage - IMLC Accepted

Job description

We are seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This is a full-time assignment in a collaborative community oncology setting with an established patient panel and strong onsite support.

Assignment Details:
Assignment Length: Ongoing (minimum 6-month commitment)

Schedule:
5 clinic days/week- 8-hour day shifts
Clinic hours begin at 8:00 AM
Last patient scheduled at 3:30 PM
30-minute lunch included
Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients/day

Call Requirements:
Weekend call: 2 weekends/month
Night call: 10 days/month
Call rotation: 1:2
Weeknight call coverage: 4:15 PM – 8:00 AM
Typically 2–3 patient calls between 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Rarely receive calls after 9:00 PM
Weekend call includes inpatient + phone coverage and 2 hours of rounding daily
Consulting service only — hospitalists handle admissions

Adult Hematology & Oncology
60% Hematology / 40% Oncology

Infusion & Support Services
14-chair infusion center onsite
2-bed infusion room
Oncology-certified nursing staff
Radiation Oncology onsite
Onsite pharmacist support

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Minimum 1 year of experience
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC required
DEA required

Additional Information:
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
