Locum NP Hospitalist needed in Iowa

Location: Iowa
Start: December 12, 2026
LOA: Ongoing need through June 2027
Rate: Hourly
Expenses: Flight, Lodging, Rental Car
License: Heavy preference to active IA license. Will review those with good experience who may need new license.
Certs: Board Certified, ACLS, BLS
EMR: Epic
Shift hours: 7am-6pm, 11 hour shifts, no call
Dates open: See below, open on 7 on/off rotation
Census: Typically, around 15-18 patients per day split between 1 MD and the NP. The MD does admissions and rounding and the split is about 60/40. Telehosp coverage from 8PM – 4AM every night. Location does not have an ICU (transferred to WB). The NP needs to be able to manage wounds when needed (if the Wound NP happens to be off). ER handles sutures.
Other info: Prefer NP who can practice independently. 20 Bed Hospital
