Hospitalist NP/PA Needed – Los Angeles, CA
Start Date: July 2026
Assignment Length: 6 months ongoing
Start timeframe: Approximately 6–7 weeks from accepted offer
Schedule:
Full-time, 3x12s per week
Swing shift: 11a–11:30p
Initial training shifts will be on days from 7a–7p
Practice Setting:
Observation Unit / Inpatient Medicine Unit
Lower-acuity inpatient medicine environment
Provider will work alongside attending physician
Responsibilities:
Admissions and discharges
Standard medical management
Consulting services
Some post-op monitoring
No procedures required
Requirements:
NP or PA accepted
Minimum 2 years of inpatient medicine experience required
Must have experience in a large teaching hospital
NP must be Acute Care certified
PA must be Board Certified
Active CA license required
Open to CA licensed providers only
Additional Details:
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 6–7 weeks for temporary privileges
