Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Nurse Practitioner (APRN) sought to join a large, vibrant, and growing hospitalist team
- Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
- Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist
- Schedule: Full-time days with a flexible schedule and premium differentials offered
- No call required
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
- Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
- New graduates are welcome to apply; 1+ year of hospital medicine experience preferred
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care certified Nurse Practitioner
- Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists
- Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Utilizes EPIC and state-of-the-art clinical informatics technology to promote improved patient outcomes
