Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

  • Seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit, collaborative inpatient medicine team
  • Full-time nights schedule with no call requirement
  • Practice in a smaller community-focused setting with a wide clinical scope, autonomy, and room for professional growth
  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
  • Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
  • Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or be eligible)
  • Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification
  • Minimum of 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting required
  • Market-leading compensation with up to $30,000 in shift differentials on top of base pay
