Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Join the Emergency Department team at a high-acuity academic setting, practicing alongside experienced attendings and residents
• Care for patients across all triage levels presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma conditions
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients under established guidelines and in collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians
• Perform procedures within scope including suturing, splinting/casting, and minor procedures
• Formulate treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Determine appropriate consultation or escalation of care when needed
• Full-time position with rotating days and nights schedule
• Open to Physician Assistants (PA) with 1+ years of experience in an emergency medicine or related setting
• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
• Experience with acute care assessment and minor procedures preferred
