Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join a large, vibrant, and growing hospitalist team
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Identify problems outside of scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
• Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist
• Schedule: Full-time days with premium differentials offered
• No call required
• Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Utilize state-of-the-art EPIC technology to promote improved patient outcomes and streamlined continuity of care
• Comprehensive orientation provided for both new and experienced providers
• Established mentorship and orientation programs specially designed for newly hired providers and providers new to practice
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required
