Locum Hospitalist APP needed in Connecticut

Location: CT-Connecticut
Start & End Date: 01/01/2027 - 06/30/2027
Rate: Hourly, Expenses as needed
Must be Board Certified
Need to work well independently
License: Need CT license, DEA
Shifts/Need: Locum HOSP APP to work days and nights at two different facilities
Facility #1: Day shift - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (MD and APP), Night shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (MD and APP)
Facility #2: 1 Day Provider, 1 APP for nights

Case load/volume:
MD day approximately 16-18 pt plus 1-2 admissions (must be willing to work with APP)
APP day approximately 15 pt
• Procedures: None
• Number of hospital beds: 259
• Closed ICU, but we do have boarders in the ICU.
• Number of admissions per night: 8-12 on average, must be willing to work with APP and residents
• Does the hospitalist respond to codes and rapid responses? If not, who does?
Yes the admitting provider, residents and provider who carries the pt on their census.
• Coverage model (number of physicians/APPs on days and nights):

• EMR: EPIC
• Credentialing timeline: 3-4 months
• Are temporary privileges available? If so, what is the timeline? Yes, but still has to go through basic credentialing, 2 months.
