This inpatient facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality care delivery. The facility provides EMR training and a shadow shift orientation for incoming locum clinicians.

Florida's Panhandle stretches along the Gulf Coast and offers a range of outdoor, cultural, and family-oriented activities. The area features white sand beaches, state parks, and water sports including snorkeling and paddleboarding, as well as natural waterways suited for canoeing and tubing. Clinicians on assignment may also explore attractions such as the National Naval Aviation Museum, Shipwreck Island Waterpark, Gulf World Marine Park, and Andrews State Park, which offers 2.5 miles of beach, swimming, scuba diving, and nature watching. Waterfront dining, harbor boardwalks, golf, and wildlife tours along the Gulf Coast are additional options available throughout the region.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during day shifts on an on-site basis, following a 7 on/7 off schedule with call required 3 times per week. Responsibilities include rounding on an adult patient population with a case load of 21-25 patients per doctor.
