Acute Care Pediatric NP – Neonatal Transport | Omaha, NE
Start Date: December 2026
Contract: 12 months, ongoing
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, no call
Nocturnist: 6–10 shifts/month, 7 PM–7 AM
Rotating Days/Nights: 10 shifts/month
Weekends and holidays required
Setting: Children's hospital, transport/critical care
EMR: Epic
Travel and lodging covered
Clinical Responsibilities:
Stabilization and transport of critically ill pediatric/neonatal patients
Ground and air transport via ambulance, helicopter, and airplane
Must be comfortable working in varying environmental and transport conditions
Requirements:
PNP-AC board certification required
Minimum 3 years of critical care experience (RN, APRN, or combination)
Prior transport experience required
Pediatric/neonatal APP experience preferred
Active Nebraska license preferred; licensing assistance available
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (confirm NRP completion timeline)
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
Aircraft weight limit: 225 lbs, including equipment per provider
