Facility:
This is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with an average daily census of 14-17 patients. The facility offers a collaborative environment staffed by two Hospitalist APCs during day shifts, with 24-hour general surgery call coverage. Ancillary services include Lab, Imaging, PT/OT, Wound Clinic, Cardiopulmonary, and Respiratory Therapy, ensuring comprehensive patient care support.

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant- Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide hospitalist coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM as part of a two-APC team
• Manage a varied patient census within an 18-bed department
• Support 24-hour general surgery call coverage responsibilities
• Collaborate with ancillary services including Lab, Imaging, PT/OT, Wound Clinic, Cardiopulmonary, and Respiratory Therapy
• Active ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• No board certification requirement to apply
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Nearest airport is MSP for travel convenience
